Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate care to patients, administering medications, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document comprehensive assessments of patient health statuses.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior nursing staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage care of patients in various settings such as wards and critical care.
  • Effectively communicate with patients to foster trust.
  • Maintain knowledge of current best practices and nursing trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Experience
  • 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
