We are in search of a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of tax regulations and compliance, adept at providing sound advice and solutions. Your role will involve liaising with clients to manage their tax obligations effectively while ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial circumstances.
• Evaluate tax-saving opportunities and prepare relevant documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client tax-related inquiries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation changes.
• Promote financial literacy and tax compliance among clients.
• Assess and advise on tax implications of business decisions.
• Prepare and maintain tax reports and compliance documents.
• Conduct risk assessments for clients' tax exposures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Postgraduate studies in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tax advisory roles
