Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have experience in community outreach, advocacy, and support services for individuals and families. Your role will involve case management, facilitating social services, and promoting overall well-being in the community.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through various phases of their social challenges by providing emotional and practical assistance.
• Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team planning and strategy.
• Engage in continuous professional development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work, particularly with community programs

Technical Skills

• Crisis Intervention
• Resource Management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
