Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or related fields, with the ability to advise clients on sustainability practices and compliance. Your role will be pivotal in implementing strategies that mitigate environmental impact and enhance ecological health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess environmental risks associated with projects.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Draft environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and other regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure environmental compliance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on environmental management.
• Generate creative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of environmental practices within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or sustainability
