We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of environmental regulations and practices, and will contribute to projects aimed at creating a sustainable future for our communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental audits and compliance checks.
• Provide technical expertise in remediation projects.
• Research and apply innovative technologies for environmental conservation.
• Prepare funding proposals for environmental initiatives.
• Work with local communities to promote sustainable development.
• Report on project progress and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consultancy or engineering

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Leadership

Certifications

• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
• Professional Engineer (PE) License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Environmental Modeling Tools: Hands-on experience with tools for environmental modeling and simulation.
• Certification in Environmental Management: Professional certification in environmental management systems.
