Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Dentist who is committed to patient care and associated dental functions. You'll be handling all aspects of general dentistry and working collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality services and treatment for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dental examinations and assess patients' dental conditions.
• Administer anesthesia and perform complex dental procedures.
• Instruct patients on proper oral care post-treatment.
• Create individualized treatment plans for patients based on examinations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with a support team to provide the best care.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in dental practice

Technical Skills

• Clinical Dentistry
• Cosmetic Dentistry

Soft Skills

• Patient Communication
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• Certification in Dental Implants

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with orthodontic procedures: Preferably experienced in braces and aligners.
• Familiarity with dental software systems: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
