Job Description

As an Accountant at our Johannesburg office, you will be integral to our financial operations. We are looking for someone who is not only highly skilled in accounting principles but also passionate about providing high-quality service to clients. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial reports, assisting in audits, and maintaining accurate financial records, making your role crucial to our firm's success.

Responsibilities

• Generate financial reports and assist in strategic decision-making.
• Support with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
• Maintain adherence to accounting standards and policies.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure all records are accurate.
• Facilitate internal audits and communicate findings.
• Develop meaningful financial metrics and KPIs.
• Provide input on financial strategies and forecasts.
• Identify process improvements to enhance financial operations.
• Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial data.
• Assist in the evaluation of financial compliance and risk management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• CA(SA) qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
