Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to clients' needs. Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Administer psychological tests and interpret results.
  • Maintain accurate records of client sessions and treatment outcomes.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to promote mental wellness.
  • Educate clients and families on mental health topics.
  • Conduct research and participate in program evaluations.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to raise mental health awareness.
  • Mentor interns and new staff on psychological practices and ethics.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • Further specialization is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications
  • Lecturer in Psychology

  • Previous work with trauma patients: Experience in treating trauma-related disorders and understanding trauma-informed care.
