Job Description

As a Community Care Worker in Cape Town, you'll provide vital support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities, personal care, and overall health management. The role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.
• Monitor client health and report concerns to the healthcare team.
• Facilitate transportation for clients to appointments or social events.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties and errands.
• Provide respite care for family members.
• Empower clients by encouraging healthy habits.
• Participate in the development of care plans for clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification in healthcare or caregiving is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a caregiving role
