Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of immunizations and other injections according to protocols.
• Implement infection control standards within the healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Respond proactively to medical emergencies and assist in emergency procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred in critical care or emergency nursing

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Patient Assessment

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR): Proficiency in using EHR systems to manage patient data.
• Additional language skills: Proficiency in additional South African languages is a plus.
