Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Outboard Motor Tester to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves extensive testing and evaluation of outboard motors, ensuring their performance and compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical background in marine propulsion systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations of outboard motors in various marine conditions.
• Document and communicate findings with engineering and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and testing standards at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software for testing.
• Assist with prototype testing and feedback for design teams.
• Track and analyze performance data for quality assurance.
• Support maintenance of laboratory/testing facilities.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting product compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in marine mechanics is preferred

Experience

• Experience in conducting performance evaluations and diagnostics.

Languages
