Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Charity Fundraiser to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support our charitable programs. You will work closely with the community to build relationships and engage donors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of short- and long-term fundraising plans.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective donors and sponsors.
• Draft and submit grant proposals to secure funding.
• Maintain a database of donors and track contributions.
• Implement recognition programs for donors and supporters.
• Coordinate volunteer involvement in fundraising activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fundraising.
• Represent the organization at community events and networking functions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Non-Profit Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in fundraising and donor relations
