Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to provide expert guidance on taxation issues in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local tax laws and regulations, along with the ability to communicate complex tax information clearly to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in tax planning to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits.
• Continuously monitor client accounts for any compliance issues.
• Communicate tax-related updates and strategies to clients.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
• Develop relationships with clients through effective communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• Relevant postgraduate studies in Taxation are preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in tax consultancy or similar roles

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is preferred
