This role is tasked with developing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic assessments, and providing high-quality therapy for clients with diverse mental health needs. Responsibilities

  • Lead psychological assessments for various client cases.
  • Design personalized treatment plans incorporating client feedback and evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying different therapeutic approaches.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure client confidentiality and ethical practice in all interactions.
  • Create informative materials to promote mental health awareness.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members in clinical practices.
  • Stay abreast of latest therapeutic trends and techniques.
  • Participate in research projects and clinical studies.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting
