Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and improving productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the full life-cycle of aerospace engineering projects from concept to testing.
• Assess and improve existing aerospace systems for performance enhancements.
• Lead cross-departmental teams in the design and implementation of aerospace engineering solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Implement innovative technologies to solve engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with aeronautical standards.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and integrate them into designs where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree or specialized certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems design and development

Advantageous

• Experience with propulsion systems: Hands-on experience with designing and testing propulsion systems in aerospace applications.
