Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in various therapeutic modalities and a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges. You will provide assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for clients across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Deliver individualised therapy for a range of mental health issues.
• Work with clients to set and achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote mental health services.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant postgraduate qualification in Psychology
• Further training in specialized therapeutic areas is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Trauma Therapy
• Family Therapy

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certificate in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Proficient
