Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender who is passionate about woodworking and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to operate and maintain our sawing machines while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production output and suggest adjustments for improvement.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on sawing machines.
• Support the team in achieving production targets while maintaining high safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures related to health and safety.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of raw materials and finished goods.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in woodworking or similar field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Sawing Techniques
• Machine Calibration

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a supervisory role: Experience leading a team or training new employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of software for production management: Experience using software tools for tracking production processes.
