Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, engineering principles, and sustainability practices. This role involves assessing environmental impacts, developing strategic solutions, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects assessing environmental risks and impacts.
  • Prepare and review environmental compliance documentation.
  • Foster relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders.
  • Implement environmental monitoring programs for ongoing projects.
  • Analyze environmental data and prepare reports to summarize findings.
  • Contribute to the development of environmental policy recommendations.
  • Assist in training staff and clients on environmental procedures.
  • Participate in public consultations and community outreach activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in environmental engineering or consultancy is preferred
