DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer based in Cape Town, you will collaborate with development and IT operations teams to optimize our cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about automating processes and developing reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Facilitate successful collaboration between development and operational staff.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and processes that enhance system reliability.
• Contribute to incident response and problem resolution efforts.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications in cloud platforms are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software development or DevOps
