Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in providing comprehensive veterinary care and be committed to enhancing animal health and wellbeing. Responsibilities include diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners about their animals' health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to diagnose their health problems.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications.
  • Perform surgical procedures with a focus on pain management.
  • Build and sustain relationships with pet owners.
  • Oversee the health and welfare of animals in the clinic.
  • Engage in community outreach regarding animal health.
  • Maintain compliance with veterinary laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Additional specialization in a veterinary discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary practices, with surgical experience preferred.
