Responsibilities

• Develop monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Lead the budget preparation and analysis processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Support the creation of financial policies and guidelines.
• Assist with training junior staff on accounting software and procedures.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects, enhancing financial literacy.
• Guide management in making informed financial decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Further studies (Honours) preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial accounting

Technical Skills

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Tax Compliance

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• CIA or equivalent certification is advantageous
• Certificate in Financial Management is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of IFRS standards: Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards for global compliance.
• Experience in retail accounting: Understand the nuances of accounting in a retail environment.
