Non-Profit Program Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Non-Profit Program Manager to lead and coordinate various community development initiatives within Johannesburg. This role will involve managing projects from inception through to completion, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with community needs and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with community leaders and partners.
• Report on project progress to the Board.
• Manage volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Utilize data to drive decision-making in program management.
• Organize community events to promote program activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in managing non-profit programs

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
• Experience in advocacy or policy work: Background in advocacy or policy development related to community issues.
