Clergy (Youth Pastor)

Job Description

As a Youth Pastor at ABC Church, you will lead, mentor, and disciple youth while creating impactful events that engage and empower the next generation. This role requires collaboration with church staff and community members to foster a supportive environment for youth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of youth ministry, including weekly gatherings and events.
• Build strong relationships with youth and families, offering guidance and support.
• Create engaging programs that cater to diverse youth groups.
• Coordinate with other ministries to enhance integration and unity across the church.
• Stay informed on current youth culture trends to engage youth effectively.
• Evaluate and improve youth ministry initiatives regularly.
• Facilitate training sessions for volunteers and youth leaders.
• Encourage youth participation in church-wide activities.
• Manage logistics for retreats, camps, and outreach programs.
• Provide counseling as needed to address youth-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Ordained or licensed minister in good standing with a recognized denomination

Experience

• Proven track record of successful youth ministry leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Proficiency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in languages such as Zulu or Afrikaans is a plus.
