Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in our Johannesburg office, you will contribute to a variety of engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and water supply systems. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about sustainable design practices. Effective communication with clients and team members is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee construction activities from start to finish.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss project updates.
• Prepare budget forecasts and manage project expenditures.
• Identify and address engineering problems as they arise.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
• Review engineering specifications and help formulate project plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management

Technical Skills

• Autodesk Civil 3D
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
