Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to enhance our team in Johannesburg. You will lead design initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement renewable energy solutions, including solar and wind systems.
• Evaluate and recommend electrical materials and components.
• Prepare project documentation such as design calculations and risk assessments.
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
• Lead workshops and presentations on electrical engineering topics.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes against targets and KPIs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
