We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a strong background in family medicine, and the ability to handle various medical conditions. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, conducting check-ups, and providing comprehensive healthcare advice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Conduct routine health screenings and follow-up assessments.
• Provide patient education on medication and treatment options.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary healthcare initiatives.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate care with specialists.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and policies.
• Support mental health evaluations and interventions.
• Help create a welcoming environment for patients and families.
• Manage patient flow and clinic operations efficiently.
• Promote preventive healthcare through community education.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in General Practice or Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in primary care settings

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
