We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Lab Researcher to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will contribute to groundbreaking research initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare solutions and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments to address specific research questions.
• Monitor laboratory equipment and ensure all are functioning properly.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations on research findings.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and protocols in all research endeavors.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
• Contribute to grant applications and funding proposals as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Master’s degree is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical research or laboratory management

Technical Skills

• Advanced Laboratory Techniques
• Statistical Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Laboratory Technician (CLT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Clinical Trials: Experience in setting up and conducting clinical trials.
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): Hands-on experience with LIMS for managing laboratory data.
