We are seeking a qualified and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our esteemed team at Local Animal Clinic in Durban. The role involves providing comprehensive medical care to a variety of animals, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on health and wellness. You will play a key role in ensuring the well-being of our furry patients while working in a supportive environment with a focus on client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat animal patients presenting with various health issues.
  • Carry out surgical and non-surgical procedures with precision.
  • Educate clients on responsible pet ownership and preventive care.
  • Develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in animal surgery preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years experience in veterinary practice with surgical experience
