We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Paw Pals Vet Clinic in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care, assisting veterinarians with treatments, and performing routine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help in carrying out preventative care and wellness checks.
• Stock and manage medical supplies and inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care.
• Report any changes in animal conditions or health to veterinarians.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science is advantageous
• Veterinary Technician Certification is essential

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in veterinary practice

• Anesthesia Monitoring
• Surgical Assistance

• Time Management

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• CPR and First Aid Certification for Animals: Certification in emergency response for pets.
• Experience with exotic animal care: Knowledge of caring for a variety of animal species beyond cats and dogs.
