Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols, risk assessment, and incident response to help protect our organization's critical information and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare security reports for management that detail incident response efforts and improvements.
• Liaise with law enforcement and external agencies in case of data breaches.
• Participate in building a cyber-resilient culture within the organization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging threats and adjust security strategies as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent
