Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and compliance, with experience in managing accounts and preparing tax filings. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial statements and budgets while collaborating with various departments to support overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with cash flow management and financial modeling.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
