Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Customs Broker to manage the import processes and procurement activities for our international supply chain. The successful candidate will coordinate with suppliers and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication with stakeholders regarding import processes and challenges.
• Analyse supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize disruptions in supply.
• Facilitate timely customs clearance to prevent delays in shipments.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers ensuring the best terms.
• Create and maintain a database of suppliers and compliance records.
• Work closely with finance to manage budgets related to procurement.
• Participate in procurement strategy development and implementation.
• Assist in building and maintaining a performance-driven culture within the team.
• Ensure adherence to internal guidelines and compliance protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or related field.
