As an Urban Planner at Urban Development Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Gqeberha's urban landscape. This position provides an opportunity to work on various projects that focus on sustainable growth, community needs, and improving urban living standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze zoning regulations and land use policies.
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed urban projects.
• Liaise with environmental agencies to ensure compliance.
• Support community engagement initiatives to gather public input.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align urban plans with company goals.
• Create visual representations of urban plans using GIS technology.
• Advise on infrastructure improvements to support new developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Town and Regional Planning
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant urban planning experience

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiXhosa: Conversational

Advantageous
