Job Description

As a Public Works Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all public works projects comply with established safety, quality, and budgetary standards. You will liaise closely with contractors, engineers, and government officials to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction sites and public works projects for compliance with planning approvals and building codes.
  • Prepare thorough inspection reports and share findings with the project management team.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects remain within regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide technical assistance and advice to contractors and the project team when required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in public works and construction inspection.
