Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Healthcare Providers Ltd., your role will be to provide high-quality nursing care and support for patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient well-being. A keen interest in professional development and continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient health and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with medical staff on care plans and patient treatments.
  • Document patient histories and relevant information accurately.
  • Act as an advocate for patients in advocating for their needs.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide life-saving measures as required.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment within the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Train and mentor junior nursing staff.
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registered Nurse status with the South African Nursing Council
Experience
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting or similar environment is preferred.
