Job Description

As a Registered Nurse within our organization, your expertise will directly contribute to the health and well-being of our patients. You will be engaged in holistic care, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to elevate healthcare standards in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer intravenous therapies and injections.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Document all patient interactions and care given.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care.
• Promote a positive patient experience through empathy and support.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing with relevant certifications

Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferable

• Patient Assessment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Specialization in Pediatric Nursing: Experience or certification in children’s healthcare.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate with Afrikaans-speaking patients and families.
