Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Centurion. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and be proficient in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems from concept to completion.
• Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments during the design phase.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and project expectations.
• Ensure quality control throughout the design and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize design software for modeling, drafting, and simulation.
• Analyze engineering problems and implement effective solutions.
• Document all design processes and modifications accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant area is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical design role

Technical Skills

• Pro/ENGINEER
• MATLAB

Languages

• English: Fluent
