Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in general engineering, and a passion for innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and resources effectively.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure all work is performed to high quality and industry standards.
  • Prepare risk management plans and perform regular assessments.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project requirements and preferences.
  • Document and report on project status, challenges, and successes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is required
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
