Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to contribute to our financial operations in Johannesburg. This role requires a proactive professional willing to ensure accurate financial management and reporting while supporting our team in achieving its goals.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable laws.
• Assist in preparing year-end accounts and audits.
• Provide support in managing cash flow and working capital.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters.
• Identify improvements in accounting processes and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience

Certifications

• Registered Public Accountant (RPA) or equivalent

Languages
