We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will excel in designing and implementing cloud solutions, ensuring security and scalability while optimizing performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with company objectives and deliver high-quality solutions that drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design robust, scalable cloud environments.
• Collaborate to define project requirements and deployment strategy.
• Optimize cloud systems for performance, security, and cost.
• Ensure effective monitoring and alert systems are in place.
• Conduct training sessions on cloud tools and technologies.
• Backup and restore cloud architectures to ensure peak operational performance.
• Manage access controls to ensure security across cloud services.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party cloud solutions where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing or similar roles
