Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in East London. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and processes. You will work closely with various teams to ensure project specifications are met and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and prototypes using CAD software.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Utilize analytical tools to assess the feasibility of designs.
• Interact with suppliers and vendors for material selection.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress and technical findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• MATLAB
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics
• Project Management

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

• English: Fluent
