Interior Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative Interior Designer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong grasp of spatial design principles. You will be responsible for creating unique design concepts that meet client needs while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop unique design solutions tailored to their individual needs.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications and schedules.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate with other professionals, including engineers and builders, to achieve project goals.
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate on client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Advise clients on effective space planning and layout optimization.
• Utilize design software to create high-quality visual representations of design concepts.
• Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for proposed design initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• B.Tech in Interior Design or equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma in Design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D Visualization Tools

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• Professional Member of the IID

Languages

• English: Fluent
