Job Description

A Beam Dyer is responsible for dyeing textile beams to the desired colour by using various dyeing techniques. This role requires precision and attention to detail, ensuring that the final product meets high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage dyeing machines for optimal operation.
• Adjust dyeing processes based on fabric type and dye specifications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot any dyeing faults or inconsistencies.
• Compile daily production reports to inform management of progress and issues.
• Train and support junior staff in dyeing techniques and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations concerning dye waste management.
• Conduct routine maintenance of dyeing and associated equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Diploma in Textile Technology preferred

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a textile dyeing role
