Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to drive our operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for retail excellence. You will oversee daily operations, manage a diverse team, and ensure that we meet our sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote store initiatives and events.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare reports for upper management on sales and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Drive initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support the recruitment process and onboarding of new staff.
  • Push for continuous improvement in team dynamics and performance.
  • Participate in inventory planning and forecasting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Retail Management certification is an advantage
