Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have expertise in protecting systems and networks by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity measures. You'll play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat assessments and provide risk analysis.
• Design and implement security architecture and measures.
• Develop incident response strategies and execute plans in the event of a breach.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and legal teams during security investigations.
• Create detailed documentation of security policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor junior cybersecurity staff.
• Research and recommend new security technologies.
• Review and update security measures to reflect changing regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT security

Certifications
