Job Description

As a Rolling Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a critical role in the finishing process of metal and plastic rods. Responsible for final inspections, ensuring the highest quality standards, and preparing products for distribution, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on precision and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Remove defects from products and ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Accurately record production metrics and quality control statistics.
• Ensure machinery is operating within safety parameters.
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Suggest improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification or training in quality control is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with rod finishing in the specific industry.

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Knowledge of measurement and calibration tools

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advantageous

• Familiarity with manufacturing software: Experience using software tools for production management.
