Doctor (Physician)

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Doctor (Physician) who is dedicated to patient care to become part of our esteemed team in Johannesburg. As a Physician, you will diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments, and be an influential figure in promoting overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Lead health education sessions and workshops.
• Monitor patient outcomes to improve care protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive patient histories and treatment records.
• Build rapport with patients and provide psychological support.
• Advocate for patient involvement in their own healthcare.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary rounds with healthcare teams.
• Perform administrative duties related to practice operations.
• Support junior staff and assist in their medical training.

Requirements

Education

• Medical Degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Additional specialization is an advantage.

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
