Join our dedicated team as a Pet Groomer in Pretoria! We are seeking someone who loves pets and is skilled in providing grooming services. Your role will include washing, drying, and grooming pets, ensuring they look their best. Experience with a variety of breeds is a must.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets with care, ensuring they are comfortable and safe.
• Discuss grooming needs with pet owners to tailor services.
• Prepare pets for grooming procedures with calming techniques.
• Stay informed on breed-specific grooming standards.
• Actively seek customer feedback to improve grooming services.
• Maintain proper inventory of grooming supplies and request reorders as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma
• Certificate in Animal Care or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a grooming salon

Technical Skills

• Clipping and trimming
• Hydrotherapy skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid Certification for Pets

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pet nutrition: Understanding the importance of nutrition for pets and grooming impact.
• Experience in customer service: Strong background in providing excellent customer service in pet care.
