Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our friendly team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets of all shapes and sizes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform regular grooming tasks including haircuts and styling.
• Assess each pet’s coat condition and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all animals.
• Communicate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Participate in ongoing training and development in grooming techniques.
• Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional grooming certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Dog Breeds Knowledge
• Grooming Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pet nutrition.: Understanding dietary needs and grooming impact on pets.
• Experience in retail sales of pet products.: Ability to assist in upselling grooming products.
