Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for structural projects.
• Lead design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Investigate issues affecting structural safety post-construction.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and current.
• Establish quality control standards and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status (UK) or equivalent
• LEED AP certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in seismic design: Knowledge of seismic codes and standards for building structures in earthquake-prone regions.
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Hands-on experience in FEA for advanced structural modeling.
